How the messages work

You create an account and opt in on this page, then save the names, mobile numbers, and birthdays of friends you want to celebrate.
Three days before a saved birthday, we text you a reminder asking whether to start a group message.
If you approve, we start a group SMS/MMS that includes you and the birthday person, and it may include a link to a digital gift card you paid for.
Birthday recipients give their own consent first at celebrationassistant.com/celebrate. No message is ever sent to someone who has not opted in.
