Information we collect

• Account details: your name, email address, and mobile phone number.
• Contacts you add: the names, phone numbers, and celebration dates of people you choose to add.
• Message content: the messages sent through the Service and replies received in those threads.
• Gift activity: which gift was sent, its amount, and whether it was claimed.
• Technical data: device, browser, and log information needed to operate and secure the Service.

How we use it

We use this information to send the reminders and messages you request, deliver gifts, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, and improve the Service. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not sell or rent your contacts' phone numbers.

SMS/MMS Messaging

My Celebration Assistant may send SMS and MMS messages to users who have expressly opted in to receive text messages. Messages may include birthday and celebration reminders, birthday greetings, gift notifications and links, group celebration messages, account notifications, and other messages related to the My Celebration Assistant service.

Message frequency varies based on birthdays, celebrations, gift activity, and user initiated interactions. Message and data rates may apply.

You may opt out of SMS/MMS messages at any time by replying STOP. You may reply HELP for assistance.

Mobile information, including phone numbers, SMS opt in data, and messaging consent, will not be shared, sold, rented, or disclosed to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the messaging service, such as messaging, technology, and gift fulfillment providers, solely as necessary to provide the services requested by users. These providers may not use SMS opt in information for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

We maintain records of messaging consent, which may include the phone number, date and time of consent, method of consent, and opt out status.

Adding other people

When you add someone's phone number, you confirm you have a personal relationship with them and a reasonable basis to contact them. You are responsible for the contact details you provide. Anyone can ask us to remove their number by replying STOP or contacting us.

Service providers

We share only what is necessary with the vendors that operate the Service on our behalf — for example our messaging provider, our gift-fulfillment provider, and our hosting and database provider. They are permitted to use the data only to provide those services to us.

Retention

We keep account data, contacts, and message history for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account or a contact, we remove the associated records, except where we must keep limited records to meet legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention obligations.

Your choices

You can review, edit, or delete your contacts at any time, and you can request deletion of your account and its data. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or export your information.

Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
